Solanum tuberosum Mid-season, yellow skin, yellow flesh. Fedco employees can agree on Carola as the best-tasting potato more than we can agree on anything else. These potatoes are rarely uniform but have that charming old-fashioned potato look. Firm and waxy, with flavor loved by all. Great prepared on the grill, wrapped in foil with sliced onion and sea salt. Watch out for dreary weather that could wallop your Carolas with fungal blights. Decent scab resistance partially compensates for this weakness. Medium spreading plants with white flowers. Organic is BACK!
