Group Order Information

Group ordering is only available to U.S. customers.

Instructions for Group Members

  1. Shop and build a cart for the items you'd like to order, just as you would for a regular, non-group order.
  2. At checkout, be sure to select "Ordering as part of a group" and enter your group code at that time.
    • "Ordering as part of a group" can be found on the "Shipping" page during checkout.
    • Alternatively, you can prefill your group code by visiting https://fedcoseeds.com/groups.
    • Don't have a group code? Your group coordinator should have given this to you. Please contact them before contacting us.
  3. If the code matches, you'll see a red banner at the top of the page that says "You are checking out as a group part" and the group discount will be applied to applicable orders.
    • If the banner doesn't appear, try re-entering your group code.

Instructions for Group Coordinators

  1. Log in to your group coordinator account for your group, via the link at the bottom of this page.
    • Don't have an account yet? You can also create an account via the same link!
    • In addition to logging in to manage your group and check on its status, we will use the email address for your coordinator account to send you confirmations of your members' orders.
  2. Start your group order by specifying the ordering deadline and providing your shipping address.
    • Yes, we need your shipping address, even if you will be picking up your order.
    • Seeds, excluding farm seed, will ship to you, the coordinator. Other items will ship directly to each group member.
  3. Your group is now ready! It's time to spread the word! Just share your group code with your group members so they can start ordering.
    • Your group members will need the group code when they check out.
    • We will also send you a link that you can share with your members. Following the link makes this even easier, because it will automatically fill in the group code for them.
    • You will get a notification (via email) of every order placed in your group, and you can view the current size and deadline of your active group on your coordinator account page.
    • Remember to place your own order as part of your group, by following the instructions for group members.
  4. Once your group deadline has passed, we will stop accepting orders for your group.
    • Seeds, excluding farm seed, will ship to you as a single shipment, and you will be responsible for distributing each order to your group members. Other items will ship directly to your group members individually, and on a different schedule.
    • Had too much fun the first time? Want to do it again? Good news: once your order deadline has passed, you're welcome to start a new group order at any time!
Tax information: Your group order will be taxed according to the taxable status of the customer and the delivery address for the order (the coordinator's address for seeds; the group member's address for other items). Members of the group who do not qualify for tax exemptions are responsible for paying use tax on their purchases to the state (when filing their tax returns).
