6-8" tall. A traditional cottage-garden stalwart. Spicy clove-scented blossoms with dainty white serrated flower petals and a magenta-red ring around the center eye. A stunning combination of fragrance, foliage and flower. Makes a carefree, naturally neat and tidy addition to the rock garden or sun-drenched path.
An excellent complement to Siberian iris in early spring and later with ‘Walker’s Low’ Catmint. Shear off spent flowerheads to encourage a second bloom in fall. Lush perennial groundcover flowers the first year and will develop into tidy clumps over time. Does well in a container, too. Worth their weight in gold in the border, attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and folks with scissors!
Plant in full sun, 12-18" apart in light well-drained soil. MOFGA-certified organic, grown at Ripley Farm. Z3. Maine Grown. (bare-root crowns)
