Fall fruit season is here! Join us at MOFGA for a day of celebration of apples and other delicious tree fruit. There will be guided tours of the Maine Heritage Orchard, workshops, cider pressing and help identifying ‘mystery’ apples by our Apple Identification team.

In orchards and venues across Franklin County, MassachusetsCiderDays is an annual community celebration of all things apple in beautiful Franklin County, Massachusetts. 2024 marks our 30th anniversary year of events including tours, cidermaking and tastings, workshops and much more in orchards and venues county-wide from Greenfield, Deerfield, and Turners Falls to Shelburne Falls, Colrain, Heath and the towns in between. Whether you are a cider aficionado (hard or sweet), make your own cider, are an orchardist, like hanging out in bucolic orchards, or just enjoy soaking up all the goodness of autumn in New England, CiderDays is your event!

Annual Seed Swap & Scionwood Exchange
at MOFGA’s Common Ground Education Center in UnitySponsored by MOFGA and Fedco Seeds
This will be an indoor and outdoor event, so wear your woolies and come enjoy a warm drink, see old friends, meet new friends and bring home some scionwood for grafting and seeds for planting! Gardeners and orchardists are invited to bring their seeds, scionwood and cuttings to share. If you don’t have any, come anyway!
